Cheating can unleash devastating consequences on a couple and unfortunately it seems to be becoming more and more common.

So when is a partner most likely to do the dirty?

A new study published in the The Journal of Sex Research investigated cheating in 423 participants.

The study concluded that women were most likely to cheat six to ten years into their relationship.

Surprisingly, men were most likely to be unfaithful after 11 years.

But if you want to get down to specific days instead of years, Illicit Encounters says there's a day of the year your partner is more likely to cheat.

Apparently, 72 percent of the 300 men surveyed by Illicit Encounters admitted to being unfaithful on the 18th of November.

It might be time to book in a date night this weekend.
