Finding time to exercise can be a real struggle, especially if you've got a newborn baby.

But this genius mum is showing us how to get the job done, all with a little help from her baby son, Hunter.

This transformation Tuesday marks 4 months post-partum! When I look back at my pregnancy pictures and the pictures I took just days after having Hunter, it's truly amazing what the body is capable of. Over the last 4 months I've had many struggles: breastfeeding (painful for almost 3 months) so I weaned Hunter, lack of sleep like every new mommy, changes in my body that I thought would never change back to normal, feeling ashamed of my body, uncomfortable to be seen by Keith without clothes on, and so many other things. However, all those struggles are distant memories now and the little life that I brought into this world trumps all of those struggles. Seeing Hunter's leaps and bounds over the past 4 months brings tears to my eyes. I'm such a proud mommy and will do anything to have a healthy, happy baby. Being a parent is so rewarding. ☝🏻But, it is HARD WORK raising a baby. HARD WORK being on all day long as a stay at home mom. People think, "oh, it must be nice to sit at home all day." Yeah, I am at home -- it sitting around -- but I'm constantly giving all my attention to my son as I should as a mommy. I want him to have all of my attention because the first months and years of his life are so crucial for his development, so I'm constantly entertaining his little brain and exposing him to new things to help stimulate that brain development. I sing, I read, I talk to him in silly voices. In addition to being on all day for him, I also have 3 jobs -- all which I work on from home -- during his naps and at night when he goes to bed. It truly is a lot of work. I get up at 3:30 in the morning to workout because I don't want my workout time to cut into his day, so I go in the morning. It is important for me to have me time and take the time to get back into shape, because a happy mommy makes a happy family! I always preach how important consistency is with nutrition and fitness if you truly want results and the progress my body has made is proof. Everyone raises their children differently and that's 100% ok, but having me time is SO important to me. Sometimes I just need to give the baby to Keith so I can have a break and that's ok. No guilt on my part.
