Presale tickets for Adele have sold out today in New Zealand, but over in Australia, they're already being resold at more than 18 times the original price.

Aussie Adele tickets went on sale on Monday with tickets originally retailing for less than $300, but The Guardian reports some tickets to the Perth Domain Stadium show are going for more than $5000.

Other reselling sites were also offering tickets for $2590 for the Adelaide and Melbourne shows, $1946 for Brisbane and $1349 for Sydney.

Here in New Zealand, presales began at 12pm Tuesday, with general sales due to begin on Thursday where the lowest-priced tickets are going for $99.90, and VIP packages - the most expensive tickets available - are going for $299.90.

Adele herself has previously spoken out against scalping when in 2015 thousands of her fans were conned into buying fake tickets for as much as $44,000.

The pop star apologised to fans for the scam, saying: "I hope no one paid that much. If you did I'll pay you back."
