Facebook Is Getting Rid Of Something Big!

Your communications with friends and non-friends via Facebook Messenger are about to get a whole lot more streamlined.

And you'll be able to filter out random messages from scammers and weirdos WAY more easily.

Put simply - Facebook are getting rid of that murky underworld that is your 'other' folder in Messages.

David Marcus, who's in charge of Facebook Messenger, announced the change via an online post last month, saying "We truly want to make Messenger the place where you can find and privately connect with anyone you need to reach, but only be reached by the people you want to communicate with."

The change is being rolled out here now, with most people who've updated saying they love the change.

Once the update takes place, anyone who's not your friend will have to send you a 'Message Request' - you can choose whether to accept that person or not, and they won't be able to see if you deny that request.
