Home and Away star Pia Miller is gracing the cover of the April issue of ELLE Magazine - and while the series of glamorous shots is usually considered a massive honour, her accompanying article took a turn for the worst.

According to the magazine, “the shoot concept and this accompanying interview were more difficult to agree on than most international cover stars in this magazine's history. From the earliest planning stages, she displayed a zealous level of control”.

The 33-year-old, who plays cop Katarina Chapman on the Aussie soap, also reportedly refused a male model for the shoot but eventually compromised by allowing fellow Aussie actor Luke Pegler to be cast in the feature.

Miller, who is a single mother to two boys Isaiah and Lennox, was also adamant about not having her kids in the magazine.

This isn't the first time Miller has been portrayed in a negative light. Last year Woman's Day referred to the Logie-nominated actor as "Princess Pia" in a double-page spread claiming her cast mates "can't stand her".

"She has one of the smallest acting portfolios on the show, but carries on like she's a five-time Oscar winner," an unnamed source told the magazine.

The Aussie actor, who is originally from Chile, has been a part of the hit show since 2015. She originally found stardom in 1998 after she won Dolly magazine’s annual modelling competition at the age of 14.
