Rescued dog places her newborn puppies into the lap of the woman who saved her

Brace yourself - this may be the sweetest thing you see all day.

Rescued pit bull, Grayce, gave birth to 11 puppies and decided to share the love with her new foster mother, Stevoni Wells Doyle, by gently placing them on her lap.

“I think she feels unsure still as a new mom,” Stevoni Wells Doyle tells The Dodo. “And she needed love and reassurance from someone she loves and trusts.”

The new mother had been neglected by her previous owner but is now feeling safe and happy will go up for adoption along with her puppies through the group Rescue Rovers in the US state Utah.

“I was honoured that she choose me to trust with her pups and herself,” Doyle says. “I’m still overwhelmed with her love.”
