You would've never thought such a simple question in court could make someone break down in tears like this.

In a Miami court, Judge Mindy Glazer realised that she recognised burglary suspect Arthur Booth from their school days.

"Did you go to Nautilus for Middle School?" Judge Glazer asked, prompting the suspect to break down in tears.

"I always wondered what happened to you sir," she continued, whilst Mr Booth broke down.

"This was the nicest kid in middle school... I used to play football with him and all the kids and look what has happened."

"Mr Booth I hope you are able to change your ways. Good luck to you."

Booth was charged with burglary, grand theft, fleeing and resisting arrest, according to NBC Los Angeles. His bond was set at $43,000.
