When it comes to mobile phones, there are two handsets that have made their mark on history. The iPhone and the wondrous Nokia 3310.

The phone that was once the market standard, famous for its usability, battery life  and its amazing strength looks like its going to be returning to the mobile phone market at the Mobile World Congress.

The new and updated 3310 will cost $87NZD and is designed to be a back up phone to your smartphone.

The idea is plausible in this day and age, but who would've thought that we'd have to purchase a back up phone just in case our main phones dies on us.

The redesigned phone is meant to "take the clutter away" according to HMD, the company who has taken on the project.

It's going to be interesting to see how well the phone actually does in the modern smartphone market, considering it's up against the likes of Apple and Samsung.

Hopefully it will at least have Snake on it.
