Hello, Darren here from The Hits Coromandel.

Originally from Aussie (I married a Kiwi, so at least I did something right) I’ve been around radio for about 20 years.

I’m a Dad to James who is 17, Karinne who is 19, a hubby (did I mention my beautiful Kiwi wife, BJ ??) and a bit of a techno geek.

We love to get out on the water, ride our bikes and I’m always volunteering to help my wife with a glass of wine at the end of the day (it’s a tough gig).

My family have lived in the Coromandel Peninsula for 35 years, so we’ve gotten to know a lot of great people here.

We love getting involved with the community, helping with festivals and events, whatever we can do to help promote all things Coromandel.
