Channing Tatum Confirms Details For 'Magic Mike 3' - The Musical

There have been rumours flying for almost a year now, since the second Magic Mike (XXL) movie hit the big screen.

People were marching in the streets, petitioning politicians, crying out for another progression in the Magic Mike franchise.

And finally they have their answer from Mike himself - Channing Tatum. He had always maintained that there would be no third movie, but instead he's confirmed a few details for the live musical version.

Tatum was speaking at Cannes Lions over the weekend and, as a producer of the live show, he was able to confirm that there would be a show in Vegas and on Broadway. 

He also said he might have secured a 'brilliant, brilliant" director for the show.

“The third installment will be the show, and I think it has to evolve past these guys,” he said, according to THR. “The first one was about Mike, the second one was about the guys and I think the third one is really about man and woman having a conversation about sex and themselves and who we all are. That’s the next step I would like to take with the story.” 

So ladies (and gents), your thirst will be quenched - you just might have to get yourself and the girls to Vegas, or New York. GIRLS TRIP!
