His is the oldest child of a footballer dad and singing fashion designer mum.

And Brooklyn Beckham proved he is very much his father's son, as he showed off his very first tattoo on Instagram, the Daily Mail reports.

Taking to the social network, the 18-year-old aspiring photographer shared a snap of the Native American etching- which matches his famous father David's.

The intricate black and white inking showed the portrait of a traditional Native American, and is a replica of the one David has on his torso.

"And we are done", Brooklyn wrote as he shared a snap of his arm proudly.

While in Los Angeles David took Brooklyn to his favourite artist, Mark Mahoney, to get a replica Native American illustration etched on his eldest son's forearm.

The eldest Beckham child shared the black and white snap to his Instagram, captioning it: "Thank you so much Mark x just like dads."

David has a strikingly similar looking Native American tattoo on torso, just one of an estimated 40 that cover his whole body.

For his tattoo session, Brooklyn kept it simple in a T-shirt while sporting the beginnings of a mustache, also just like his father's.

The photographer posted a second picture for a closer view, adding: "Honoured to have my first tattoo done by dads friend Mark Mahoney."

Mark is the owner of tattoo parlor Shamrock Social Club in Hollywood.
