Disney announces 'Frozen 2' release date

Walt Disney Animation Studios has now set an official release date for Frozen 2 - yup, we're not ready to "let it go" just yet!

The original Frozen hit theaters in 2013, and last month we learned that Frozen 2 was officially a thing, thanks to Kristen Bell spilling some of the details about the highly anticipated sequel.

Today, Disney itself has shared the film's release date: November 27, 2019.

Now, not much is known about the plot of Frozen 2, but Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel will likely both reprise their roles of Anna and Elsa, and the sequel is rumored to contain an epic duet between the two sisters.

According to Peter Del Vecho, a producer of Frozen 2, the upcoming film will "build on the first movie," allowing audiences to understand the original plot even better than before.
