Fans fear for Ed Sheeran after he breaks his arm in bicycle accident

Ed Sheeran has left fans around the world anxious after he "had a bit of a bicycle accident".

It is feared that the 26-year-old singer has broken his arm after his bike collided with a car in London, England.

In an Instagram post, Ed let his fans know he was OK, but that he was still waiting to hear about further medical advice concerning his arm.

"I've had a bit of a bicycle accident and I’m currently waiting on some medical advice, which may affect some of my upcoming shows. Please stay tuned for further news," he wrote along with a photo of his wrist in a cast.

As Ed needs his hand to play his guitar it is not yet known how the injury will affect his upcoming tour.

Thankfully he's not scheduled to perform in New Zealand until March next year - and we're sure he'll have made a full recovery by then.
