Former Home and Away babe Beau Brady has been given a 12-month good behaviour bond after he was caught with cocaine at a Sydney bar.

Brady, who is best known for playing Noah Lawson on the Aussie soap, pleaded guilty to possessing the drug after he was searched by police, The Daily Telegraph reported.

Court documents have revealed the 35-year-old was at a bar in Bondi Junction when police entered the premises with a drug detection dog.

"The accused looked in the direction of the drug detection dog and immediately began walking towards the exit of the licensed premises."

Brady was then approached by plain-clothed police as he tried to leave the bar.

When asked by police if he had drugs on him, a "nervous" Brady replied: "possibly."

After searching him the officers found a plastic bag of cocaine in the pocket of his pants.

The magistrate gave him a section 10 bond — which means no conviction will be recorded against his name.
