She's a doting mother to two adorable sons, Beau, nine, and Tate, five, with her partner of almost two decades, Jade Jones.

And Emma Bunton has hinted she could soon be set to expand her family further after admitting she is "always broody".

The former Spice Girls singer, 41, told Daily Mail she loves "every stage" of being a mother and thinks it would be "wonderful" to welcome a little brother or sister for her boys in the not too distant future.

Emma said: "I'm always broody. I love every stage really. And obviously now I've got a nine-year-old and a five-year-old, they're going through different things.

"The whole thing about the smell of a baby, holding a newborn. Oh my goodness, there's nothing quite like it.

"And their skin is so delicate and soft and gorgeous. It's a very, very special time."

She added: "Never say never. I've always been very maternal and I love being around children.

"I think if I'm lucky enough that would be something wonderful."

Emma, who has been with her musician beau since 1998 when he was a member of boyband Damage, has no doubt been made even more broody by the arrival of former bandmate Geri Horner's newborn son.

The singer, 44, welcomed baby Montague George Hector - her first child with Formula One mogul husband Christian Horner, 43 - in January.

Emma explained she has already been treated to cuddles with "adorable" Monty.

She told MailOnline: "He's adorable, really adorable. It's lovely to get some cuddles, from him and from Geri."
