Is Britney Spears finally coming to New Zealand?

Britney Spears is hitting the road!

Our favourite pop princess has just announced a world tour, with shows starting in Manila and Tel Aviv. Which will be her first-ever concert in both the Philippines AND Israel!

There are also reports that the 35-year-old will be visiting Japan, Argentina, Brazil, France, and England! AND there are even rumours of her heading to Australia!

An insider revealed to Daily Star Online, "Britney has wanted to tour for ages, her time in Vegas has given her so much more confidence and she can't wait. The current plan is for the Piece of Me show to be duplicated around the world instead of a whole new set being created from scratch but discussions are in the early stages."

Although there has been no official mention of New Zealand, we're crossing our fingers after the likes of Adele coming to our shores.

Britney toured Australia in 2009, with concerts in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.

She has never been to New Zealand.
