James Corden proved he has what it takes to be part of a theater company.

In a hilarious edition of Crosswalk The Musical: Beauty And The Beast, the 38-year-old dressed up as Belle from Beauty And The Beast. The skit aired on The Late Late Show, the Daily Mail reports.

Also there were Dan Stevens, Luke Evans and Josh Gad who play the Beast, Gaston and Lefou, respectively, from the new live-action version of the Disney classic that stars Emma Watson.

Crosswalk the Musical, which is part of an ongoing skit on his late-night show, is performed in the middle of a busy intersection in the heart of Los Angeles.

The clip begins with James getting his team together for rehearsals in the parking lot before taking the main stage in front of their audience, which comprised of people sitting in LA traffic.

After some hilarious rehearsals that has the cast pretending to be a knife, fork and spoon, they are ready for opening day.

James begins by entering the busy crosswalk as Belle, belting out the first lines of the film.

They get a couple of seconds into the song, when the light changes and they are forced to get out of the intersection or risk being hit by honking LA drivers.

James runs off the "stage" ecstatic by how the first number went, even excitedly saying the cast got a standing ovation in the form of someone sticking their head out of their sunroof to see what was going on ahead of them.

It's then Luke Evans and Josh Gad's time to shine as Gaston and Lefou. The duo take to the streets where they perform Gaston to the bevy of drivers who appear to be unimpressed.

Josh gets to play double duty as he is recruited to play the candlestick for the performance of Be Our Guest.

Again, the cast gets a few minutes into their song before they are forced to hilariously run out of the crosswalk and back onto the sidewalk to avoid the cars driving toward them.

The final number, involves James in the iconic yellow dress and Dan Steven, who jokingly laments he has been left out of the performance up until this point.

The duo dance their way into the crosswalk as the company performs the titular song.

They end with a romantic kiss and a seemingly heartfelt moment before they are jolted back to reality and forced to run back to safety.
