Yesterday a glowing Kate Middleton made her first public appearance since announcing her third pregnancy.

But on what should have been an exciting occasion, the Duchess of Cambridge was instead met with hate from Internet trolls criticising the size of her baby bump.

Showing off her bump in a stunning blue gown at a Buckingham Palace reception honouring mental health campaigners, many questioned whether the royal was even really pregnant.

One user questioned: "I thought she was pregnant!?"

Another troll commented: "I can't believe she's prego, she looks too thin."

"Really, is she pregnant?" a third asked.

Another user said: "I look more pregnant than Kate Middleton but ok".

Amongst the negative comments some even questioned whether her blue dress was a hint that she’s expecting another son.

"Is that blue stunning dress a sign for a boy?" one user asked.

"Does all the blue mean another prince?!" another wrote.

According to reports the 35-year-old is three months into her pregnancy and has again been experiencing hyperemesis gravidarum - which has forced to be on bed rest and miss Prince George's first day of school.

We're glad to see she's feeling better and think her bump is perfect!
