Khloe Kardashian has insisted she isn’t afraid to give birth.

The 33-year-old reality star is days away from welcoming her first child with her boyfriend Tristan Thompson, and has admitted that she isn’t nervous about her impending labour, as she's already witnessed her sisters - including Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner - go through the process.

Writing in a post on her app, khloewithak.com, which was entitled “Why I’m Not Afraid About Giving Birth”, the star said: “I’ve seen over eight births live and in person. Of course, I’m a little nervous to go into labour. But I’m trying to not overthink something that happens all the time.”

It comes after her mother Kris Jenner said she was “excited” to welcome her new granddaughter into the world, and claimed Khloe was “scared” about becoming a first-time mother.

She said: "I'm excited. I think [she's ready], so we'll see. When you have your first baby, you're scared.”

The Revenge Body star’s sister Kim Kardashian West - who has North, four, Saint, two, and Chicago, almost three months, with her spouse Kanye West - also hinted at Khloe’s parenting fears recently, when she said the beauty is “too freaked out” to take any advice.

Kim said: "Khloe and I have a really good thing going on right now. I’m like the real one with her [about] what goes down and how it's going to go down.

"You cannot tell her anything right now that's too sensitive because she's just so freaked out. So, I can't really get into the whole, like, nipples and breastfeeding thing. She’s just going to have to figure that all out and slowly.

“It'll be fine. She knows. She’s seen all of us go through it. She's prepared, but I feel her and I are on a really good communication about everything. I know when to push it and when to ... right now isn't a time to freak her out. The closer it gets, you can't freak someone out.

"You have no idea and that's the beauty of it. You just have no clue and that's totally fine."
