Kim Kardashian reveals why she chose to have another baby girl...

Reality star Kim Kardashian is known for pushing the boundaries and frequently causing controversy; so the reason behind her decision to have another daughter may surprise you.

Speaking to Elle magazine, the 37-year-old - who welcomed Chicago via a surrogate on January 15 - revealed it was one of the "trickiest" decisions she's had to make.

But when it came to picking the embryo, she opted for the "healthiest one".

"What sex do you put in? I just said, 'Which one is the healthiest? Pick the healthiest one,' and that was a girl," Kim shared.

Opening up for the first time about the surrogacy, the mum-of-three - who also has North, four, and Saint, two, with her husband Kanye West - quashed rumours they put their surrogate on a strict diet.

"I straight-up told her, 'Look, I ate doughnuts every single day. If you want doughnuts and ice cream, go for it. Do whatever you feel. I'm not going to be picky like that'," she said.

However, the surrogate chose to eat "organically'.

The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star said she can't get her head around having any more children at this point.

"My home and my heart feel really full right now, in the best way," she said.

"I don't think I could handle more than that. My time is spread really thin. And I think it's important that in all couples, the mum gives the husband as much attention as the kids."
