She made headlines around Australia and New Zealand this year after being labelled the "runaway bride" on 'Married At First Sight', but now Lauren Bran is opening up about her experience during and after the show.

Speaking with news.com.au, the brunette beauty said she regretted going on the reality series: “Everywhere you went, Australia judged you and it was embarrassing. The way the show portrayed you is embarrassing. If I had my time again I wouldn't go on the show. And the drinking — I’d hold back a bit.”

The 33-year-old - who is now in a relationship with property developer Jake Barnett - also revealed she suffered a miscarriage just weeks ago.

Bran was eight weeks into her pregnancy at the time of the tragic loss.

"It was emotional and I was surprised... it was tough."

“It was one of those things that happened and we were going to go through with it… But it wasn’t healthy and I lost the baby and things weren’t right.”

“It was heartbreaking but it wasn’t meant to be.”

The mum-of-one became a standout on the controversial reality dating show after marrying Andrew 'Jonesy' Jones, only to dump him on the exact same day.
