Meet Home And Away's new River Boy...

Before Christmas 'Home and Away' teased fans with the announcement the dreamy River Boys would be returning to the Aussie soap!

And while we were heartbroken to hear Brax and Heath wouldn’t be gracing our screens again, we now know who the latest gang member is - and he doesn't disappoint!

Meet Patrick O'Connor, who will be playing bad boy Dean.

In a recent interview with The Sunday Telelgraph, the Brisbane-based star revealed the gig is his first role.

“Home and Away is obviously known as a launch pad for many ­actors’ careers."

"Obviously going into the type of role that this is, being a River Boy and there being a story there already that is so big and well known, it means there is a legacy there to play around with and being a bad boy on the show is exciting,” the 25-year-old told the publication.

“I got close with a couple of other roles on Home and Away,” he said. "Prior to this I was actually working as an assistant to an interior stylist.”
