Prince Jackson has added another tattoo to his collection - this time paying tribute to his father, music legend Michael Jackson.

The tattoo features an image of Michael striking an iconic pose wearing a red shirt, glittering gloves and angel wings. The tattoo, which wraps around Prince’s calf, also shows an Egyptian hieroglyphic meaning "life".

Posting a video the body art to Instagram, Prince revealed that the tattoo took 9 hours to complete. He also thanked the artist, Justin Lewis, for "such an incredible and beautiful tattoo".

However, not everyone shared Prince’s enthusiasm for the tattoo. Several Michael Jackson fans slammed the tattoo saying it hadn’t been done very well.

Thanks @dermagraphink for sittin 9hrs with me for such an incredible and beautiful tattoo. I will be posting more of this

"Mad respect for MJ, but that tattoo is BS ... very bad work ... it could be done much, much better," one user wrote in the comments.

"Beautiful idea but the proportions are all wrong," another user wrote, "What about the face/nose? I'd suggest you get this fixed by a real professional. But still, it has a lot of love to it."

Another user commented, "You could have gotten something way better somewhere else."
