As we are seeing more and more — once bitten with the limelight, an offer of a chance to shine again on reality TV is very tempting.

It was no surprise when Spy heard that Gray was ditching his bromance with Cliffe and had applied for TVNZ’s new show Heartbreak Island.

After already passing the screen test with TVNZ, we think the soccer-mad lad will be fast-tracked over the more than 1500 singles who have already applied.

Grey is hoping to join nine single guys and 10 single girls on a tropical island resort, in the hope of finding love and in landing the perfect match — and another $1000 prize.

“I think after being on MKR NZ this season the public only got to see one side of me, the fun-loving guy with my best mate Ben. There definitely is another side to me and that’s someone who is on the lookout for love and finding it at Heartbreak Island could definitely be a possibility.” Gray told Spy.

“I would be looking for someone adventurous, outgoing and keen to have fun and hopefully someone who doesn’t mind cooking with me! I would like her to be caring and not take herself too seriously.”

With all that competition and all the cameras on Heartbreak Island, Spy thinks cooking will be the last thing he will have time to do.
