Sarah, Sam and Toni countdown to launch

The country's newest radio show will officially launch next week, as Sarah, Sam and Toni hit the airwaves, hosting their new breakfast show on The Hits in Auckland. 

To prepare for the big launch, the trio have undergone some serious team bonding, including a trip to Melbourne to interview Ed Sheeran. 

But while the team had a blast sitting down with the chart topping singer, the trip over wasn't as much fun for poor Sam Wallace, who found himself relegated to the cheap seats, while Toni Street and Sarah Gandy used an upgrade to travel in style. 

The trio also enjoyed a team breakfast at the QT Melbourne, where Sam proved he's the spicy meatball in the mix, ordering Nasi Goreng for breakfast. 

Sarah, Sam and Toni will hit Auckland's 97.4FM from Monday February 13, including their interview with Sheeran.
