Sofia Vergara slams gossip magazine for cheating rumours

She's fighting back against cheating rumours. 

And Sofia Vergara, 44, is not happy with Star Magazine's attempt to call her marriage to Joe Manganiello, 40, into question, the Daily Mail reports. 

The stunning Colombian star posted a photo of the cover story along with her own rebuttal. She began: "The editor of this magazine is an idiot."

The Modern Family star then went on to clarify the photos published of her with another man.

"By the way ... that's my friend the producer of the movie Bent that I was shooting in Rome and who came to spend Easter at my home the week later."

She also touched on the fact that she wasn't wearing her wedding ring, saying: "If [the editor] is going to have my ring removed to create a 'fake' news he should have made her that he removed from social media all the other pictures of that night in Rome where I'm wearing it."

She finished off the posts with hashtags, #Starmagazinebullies, #goinventsh*taboutyourmother."

The photo in question shows Sofia dancing with another man (who she has indicated is the producer of her latest film) in a gold dress without her wedding ring on her left finger.

It was taken in Rome at the Ischia Film and Music Festival Gala where Sofia won an award that night. 

She was seen taking many pictures with Andrea Lervolino, that man in question, who was with Sofia in Rome while filming Bent. 

The actress' posted an adorable photo with Joe kissing her as the two cuddled close just three days ago.

The gorgeous star captioned the photo: "Now my weekend is perfect! #welcomehome #setlife."

The couple started dating in July 2014 and became engaged on Christmas Day after six months of dating.

They got married in Palm Beach, Florida in November 2015.
