Watch Reese Witherspoon and Ellen DeGeneres battle over Oprah Winfrey's friendship

Oprah Winfrey appeared on Ellen DeGeneres' chat show and found herself being fought over by the comedienne and her A Wrinkle In Time co-star Reese Witherspoon.

After chatting with Oprah about being targeted in a tweet by Donald Trump over her 60 Minutes segment on Sunday, Ellen revealed she was somewhat jealous of Reese for suggesting she was better friends with the media mogul, the Daily Mail reports.

So, in order to settle the debate, Oprah hosted a trivia contest between Ellen and Reese in which she asked questions about herself to see who knew her better.

The Big Little Liars star made a surprise appearance on the show wearing a brown polka dot dress.

"We talk every morning," Reese bragged about her friendship with Oprah. "She told me she was coming on your show."

"Why can't we all just be best friends," Oprah inquired.
