Now that everyone's favourite weekday evening quiz show is off air, Bradley Walsh has decided to create one of his very own.

The show will be called Cash Trapped and Bradley spoke about what it's going to entail on ITV's Lorraine.

"It's all about escaping the show with the most money," he said. "But you can end up staying on it for weeks as the money accrues.

"Basically, you have to win the show on that day to escape with the money – and you're playing against five other people. If you lose, they retain their money and it rolls over, but you then go back to zero."

Apparently, while they were filming this new show, a few contestants struggled with being away from their families for so long.

Bradley spoke about this as well; "This one woman – I can't remember her name now – she missed her children so much that she started to get upset.

"We had to say to her, 'Do you want to go?' but she stayed for her kids as she really needed the money. It was extraordinary.

"She was great in the end though. She was terrific. It's a good little show actually."

But it's not all bad news for The Chase fans as it is scheduled to return to screens again mid-September.

This is a UK date, so we should be seeing new episodes of the show closer to the end of this year.
