Why the winners of The Bachelor NZ are celebrating

Zac Franich and Viarni Bright have stayed out of the limelight since they emerged as the winning couple on The Bachelor NZ.

They said they wanted to take it slow – and who could blame them?

But their social media ban ended yesterday when Viarni shared a cute one-month anniversary photo of the couple – who apparently are still very much dating.

Bright says: “This guuuy. Somehow always shuts his eyes in photos. Somehow out dorks me on the reg. Somehow always makes me smile. Can't believe this day was a month ago. Time flies.”

The pair is still living apart, with Viarni flatting with some close friends in the city and Zac is based on the Hibiscus Coast on Auckland’s North Shore.

Zac has been having some much-needed boy time after being surrounded by too many girls during The Bachelor filming.

Earlier this month Zac also introduced Viarni to his dog, Chief, for the first time.

Apparently, he approves.
