Young Prince George's first day of school pic with dad Prince William will make you melt

Prince George has become a schoolboy.

The Duke of Cambridge says his son's first day went smoothly, despite the Duchess having to stay home due to severe morning sickness.

Four-year-old George is attending Thomas's Battersea, a fee-paying independent school in south London.

Prince William and his young son posed together for an adorable picture on the steps of Kensington Palace in London before William dropped George off for his very first school day.

Kate had hoped to join William on the school run,  but was too ill with morning sickness to attend.
