Do your kids sit around on the couch all day playing video games?

So did Jeremy Fielding's children.

That was until he rigged a rowing machine to power his kids' video game console - which is totally genius!

Now, the console only works if one of his three kids is rowing.

When they stop rowing, the game stops.

Fielding mentions in the video that he intentionally put a small capacity on the battery in the generator, so it would turn off after less than a minute of inactivity.

That's one way to get the kids active!
