Pledge for Plunket: Olympian Ian Ferguson gives Sam advice for his extreme kayaking challenge

On Friday, May 11, The Hits will be Pledging for Plunket to help raise money for the youngest Kiwis.

Sam Wallace as decided to he will do his part in the fundraiser by attempting to kayak from Auckland City to Waiheke. 

He turned to New Zealand's most successful Olympian, gold-medal winning kayaker, Ian Ferguson for some advice - which both helped and horrified producer Lulu who will be in the kayak with Sam.
