Meet Marlborough Apprentice #1, Matt Patterson from Marlborough Glass, Homeplus and Novus!
21 Year old Matt has recently purchased his first home, enjoys rugby and being outdoors. Listen to Matt's full interview with Breffni on The Hits above!
Why did you get into your industry?
I got into the glazing industry because I had just come home from living in Kaikoura and I wanted to get myself into a trade but wasn’t sure which one, I walked past Marlborough Glass and Josh saw me and invited me in to chat (as he already knew me from coaching his sons Rugby team). After we had a chat he offered me a job and future apprenticeship, the rest is history!
How long have you been in your industry?
I have been in the industry for over 2 years.
Highlights of working in your industry?
I enjoy meeting lots of new people and making new friends. I also enjoy getting to see fresh ideas on new builds and renovations which gives me ideas for my own home.
