All Blacks star Izzy Dagg has opened up about his bold decision to have work done on his do.

The 30-year-old revealed to Brodie and Fitzy that he has undergone an eight-hour hair procedure to thicken up his locks that he admits were starting to get patchy in places.

"I just turned a new leaf on my life and am bringing it back," Izzy said, revealing he is "stoked" with the new look.

"It’s a big procedure," he explained. "They take little hair follicles from the back of your head and replant them to your head and then it takes like, seven months for it to grow and once it grows it just grows forever."

Brodie Kane commended the rugby player for being so upfront for sharing his story.

Good on you Izzy!
