Mental Health Awareness Week: Jono Pryor reveals why he goes running at 3:40am every morning

Since it’s Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re opening up about some of the things we do that help boost our mood and support our mental wellbeing.

Exercise is something that’s good not only for our physical health but also does wonders for mental health too.

And that's definitely the case for Jono Pryor, who loves to kick off his day with a run before work.

"Something I like doing to clear my head is getting up at 3:40am and going for a run. It is a great way to start the day," Jono says.

"Yes it is somewhat psychotic, people will judge you, and it might look like you are running from the law at such an hour. Aside from having to get up at 340am, the judgement and potential court cases the health benefits are certainly worth it.

"You will have achieved something before the day has begun. Side note: waking up at cr*p o'clock is not essential."
