Zac Franich spills on if he'd still pick Viarni Bright over new girlfriend Erin Simpson on the Bachelor

Now that it’s been revealed that Bachelor NZ star Zac Franich is dating kids TV star Erin Simpson, the real question is: If Erin was in the Bachelor house, would Zac still have chosen ViarniBright?

And that’s exactly what Sam brought up when the happy couple stopped by the studio to fill Sarah, Sam and Toni in on all the goss.

"I’m ... er ... Why would you do that to me, Sam?!" Zac nervously deflected.

"I would have liked to have hosted that show," Erin added, "imagine that. That would have thrown a spanner in the works!"

"Basically he had to go through every girl in New Zealand to find out that I’m the cool one."

Zac – who cut ties with Bachelor winner Viarni in November last year - revealed that the new lovebirds' "paths just sort of crossed" and that he and Erin started hanging out more and more after meeting in Auckland over the summer.

Erin explained that they did get a good chance to get to know each other in private before their romance was unveiled.

"We've pretty much had three months hiding away at the beach, just by ourselves," she said.

And although their relationship is now in the public eye, they’re not letting that stop them from celebrating Valentine’s Day this week.

"I did offer, 'should we do something [for Valentine’s Day]?'" Erin revealed, "and he's like 'I've got it sorted, Simpson'."
