Over 15 years, the Gisborne-based festival Rhythm & Vines, has grown from a New Year’s party to an annual rite of passage for Kiwi teens. But it hasn’t been without its share of drama and controversy. From family feuds and heartbreak to financial ruin, witness the untold story behind one of New Zealand’s biggest music festivals, Rhythm and Vines. The Road to Rhythm four part documentary drops on Thursday 31st May.

Ahead of it's release Estelle spoke with Hamish, co-founder of Rhythm and Vines, about the initial 'let's have a big party' idea and the journey of it becoming a business and annual event!
