Calum Scott reveals the special meaning behind his song No Matter What

British pop star Calum Scott stopped by the Hits studio to chat with Stace and Flynny about his latest single No Matter What.

It turns out the track has a very personal, special meaning for the 30-year-old about his experience of coming out about his sexuality to his mum.

"I was terrified, I was sick, I was shaking," Calum explained, "and I told her and she just said 'Calum I love you no matter what, I just want you to be happy, be who you are, don’t try to be anybody else'".

"And that is heaven sent for LGBT youth, for anybody going through that … It’s what you want to hear."

How sweet is that?!
