Céline Dion looks almost unrecognisable debuting her new jet black pixie haircut

When you think of luscious long blonde hair, you think of Céline Dion.

But the My Heart Will Go On singer has gone to the dark side for Harper’s Bazaar glossy September issue, swapping her golden locks for a dark pixie cut wig - and we honestly didn’t recognise her at first!

The 51-year-old posed for the magazine's 2019 Icons portfolio, in which she can be seen in a series of striking outfits.

In the first photo, which was shot by Mario Sorrenti and styled by Carine Roitfeld, The Power of Love hitmaker sported an Alexander McQueen tuxedo jacket with cutouts at the shoulder, a pair of Gianvito Rossi pumps and intense winged eyeliner.

In another photo, Dion channels her inner Twiggy in a polka-dotted and striped Marc Jacobs dress with huge puff sleeves.

While a third photo, which is being used for the edition's cover, shows the songstress posing in a neon-green tuxedo jacket with a pair of distinct white heels.

The photo series is meant to showcase the "actors, models, and musicians [who] have shifted perceptions by resisting the established, avoiding the accepted, and breaking every rule they can."

Other celebrities who posed for the issue include Kate Moss, Shailene Woodley, Alicia Keys, Regina King, and Awkwafina.
