Born in 2013, the festival has become a highlight on Dunedin’s annual calendar of events. They host over 6,200 craft beer and food lovers who come from far and wide to be a part of the magic and madness, and to experience some true southern charm and hospitality. Stallholders provide the most delectable delights, showcasing their incredible produce and industry expertise.

The festival is all about engaging with friends and family, of sharing stories through food and drink, and feeding our basic fundamental human needs to feel happy and alive. This is the ultimate friends-family-fiends day out!

General Admission Tickets – $45.00 + booking Fee.

Limited Tertiary Student Tickets – $40.00 + Booking Fee.

Dunedin Beer Fest Supporters Club Tickets (includes preferential access to tickets for 2020’s festival, VIP ticketing lane to skip that large queue, access to VIP Lounge for the final 3 hours of the festival, 2x Festival Brews, and a limited Edition ‘Supporters Club’ Cup & Lanyard) – $99.00 + Booking Fee.

Limited Family Passes available for Saturday Only.

This year: a special return bus package with transfers from Oamaru through to the festival. Scott’s Brewery in Oamaru is the main pick up / drop off point with other pickups also available from Weston, Maheno, Hampden, Palmerston. Save the fuss, and take the bus for only $70 per person!


This year’s festival just gets better. The music line up has been released and includes Kiwi award winning act Phoenix Foundation, iconic Dunedin legends The Chills, double platinum artist Hollie Smith, as well as locals Kylie Price, Loose & Colorful and Mia Jay. A power packed stage line up to supplement the numerous vendor offerings, seminars and other soon to be released entertainment.
