There is new Christmas Market coming to New Zealand and it looks amazing

Get ready to kick off the holiday season in style.

Introducing A Very Tasty Christmas Market, set to make its merry debut at The Cloud in Auckland on December 2nd and 3rd.

With over 70 pop-up bars, eateries, gift stalls, and entertainers, this event promises to be a festive feast for the senses.

Drawing inspiration from the grand Christmas traditions of Europe, the organisers, Lemongrass Productions, known for their success with Taste of Auckland and Winetopia, have curated what is sure to be an unforgettable affair.

“We’ve been busy creating an environment that is perfect for end-of-year socialising as well as an uplifting shopping experience,” says Rob Eliott, Director of Lemongrass Productions.

“This is also perfect for people like me who will find Christmas shopping a lot more appealing with a drink in their hand, some activities to keep the kids entertained, and delicious food to break things up.”

Kiwis will be able to tantalise their taste buds with a diverse menu featuring Pizza Fritta & Arancini, Wagyu beef brisket & pulled pork belly, Ceviche with hot sauce, and freshly shucked Mahurangi Oysters. Vegan delights like Delicious Dosa, Bear Gelato, and chocolate strawberries are also on the menu.

Some of the highlights of the market include a garden bar run by Chef Luis Cabrera where his gold medal-winning Besos Margaritas will be following and a Malfy Gin Bar led by mixologist James Millar - there's no shortage of libations to accompany your festive shopping.

The entertainment lineup is nothing short of spectacular, with live music, giant games, axe throwing with the NZ Stage & Screen Combat School, face painting, and a Story Corner for the little ones.

Open from 10am – 6pm on Saturday and Sunday, admission to A Tasty Christmas Market is just $5 at the door, and kids under 12 get in free with a paying adult.
