COVID LOCKDOWN UPDATE:
POSTPONED - new date and new location:  Saturday 3 October at Waiotapu Camp.

You might have heard about it or maybe even seen it on TV, competitive BBQ cooking is HUGE in the States and is now starting to get a big following here in Aotearoa!

And now a new event comes to Rotorua… Boost Events presents Campfire Cookout at the Waiotapu Camp on Saturday 2 October! It is a competitive BBQ event with sanctioned categories where teams and individuals cook for prizes, points cash and trophies.

Entries are open to everyone, or you can just head out to take a look at how it all unfolds

Is your bbq'ing game is on point? Well here is your chance to show how good you are! Or maybe your kids are keen cooks and always giving you a hand on the BBQ? Enter them in the Kids competition. All the entry details are at cookout.co.nz

Just wanna watch? Campfire Cookout is open to the public from 12 – 5pm on the day. Watch some of NZ’s top-ranking Steak and BBQ cooks battle it out for cash and prizes. Chat to the teams and find out what competition BBQ is all about and maybe pick up a few tips along the way. Bring cash (no eftpos sorry) for BBQ and fire related food vendors, merchandise and fundraising for the Graeme Dingle Foundation.
