"That is not birth no matter how you swing it" were direct words from a birth photographer that discriminated against a mother because she had to have a Cesarean instead of a more traditional birth.

The woman remained anonymous as the photo was uploaded to Facebook by the 'Breastfeeding Mama Talk' page, and it accompanied by the caption - "Moms who have had a C-section you're just as much a damn good mother as anyone. How you gave birth and you did certainly give birth does not determine your worth as a mom."

It's obvious from the first message that the woman must have hired the photographer to take pictures at the birth of her child, but due to their prejudices, the request wasn't completed.

The photographer certainly doesn't hold back in expressing their opinion on how a mother should give birth.

“You aren’t giving birth. You have a surgery to your baby from your abdomen, That is not birth no matter how you swing it and I for one don’t want to be there to take pictures of it.”

It's fair to say that their response was utterly disgusting, and the comments on the post certainly reflect this.

"This photographer should not not be documenting any woman's birthing journey! She is a disgrace as a photographer and a mother that absolutely needed two planned c-sections this is appalling! She is despicable and this enraged me. I feel horrible that this mom mom was shamed into how she needed to bring her child into this world."

"Omg how horribly mean! I had natural births but I'm still extremely offended. Conceiving is a miracle in itself... birthing (any way possible to get a baby into this world healthy, safely and happily) is a double miracle. Boycott her!!!! What a moron."
