Why would someone do this?!

This Staffordshire Bull Terrier was abandoned by his owner, and had to spend an entire night on a London bus.

The bus's driver, Amos Paul Mak, noticed the poor thing getting on 158 bus to Stratford with what he assumed was his owner.

Further into the journey the dog got off the bus at a stop along the route from Chingford Mount to Stratford. To be on the safe side, Amos asked his passengers who the dog belonged to, only to find out that the dog had been left to do the journey on his lonesome.

The dog then got back on the bus, where he stayed until the bus came to the end of its route at Stratford Bus Station. Too scared to leave the bus, the trembling dog stayed on board.

The bus driver did his best to comfort the dog, but he was so terrified he couldn't even eat the food that was left for him.

Staff named the Staffordshire Bull Terrier 'Buster', and contacted the police and RSPCA to get some advice and help.
