This man's epic Beauty and the Beast proposal just set the bar SO high

Step aside, Prince Charming — one man on Imgur is totally showing all Disney fanatics how it's done.

Pulling off the most romantic Beauty and the Beast proposal of all time, the man documented his journey on the image-sharing site, starting with an adorable photo of his girlfriend wearing Belle's famous yellow ballroom dress. He captioned the pic saying, "This is Cara, my best friend and partner in crime. She grew up admiring Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Wanting to recreate the famous scene, I decided to make her the dress to coincide with my proposal."

Yep, you read that right. The guy actually learned how to SEW just to make his girlfriend's fairy tale dreams become a reality.

After about a month of working on this glorious creation, the time had come for this prince to ask his princess to be his wife. To top his epic proposal off, he got down on one knee at a place that bookworm Belle would absolutely approve of — the Iowa State Parks Library Periodical Room.
