It's been three weeks since Kensington Palace announced the news the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were expecting their third child.

Typically couples will wait until the three-month mark before announcing they are expecting a baby, which led the public to believe the royal baby is due sometime in April 2018.

But Prince William has just let it slip the due date for their little one might be sooner than we expected.

While visiting the Spitalfields Crypt Trust, a charity that supports those dealing with homelessness and addiction, Wills dropped a major hint that his wife might be further on in her pregnancy than we first though.

After being congratulated during the visit, the Prince told one midwife: "All the best with the midwifery, I may see you sooner than you think."

The comment has set tongues wagging with many now thinking the little royal could be born as early as March.

The due date has not yet been announced by Kensington Palace.
