Last week Prince George started school and melted hearts around with world with his adorable 'first day' pictures.

But the little royal, who is attending £17k-a-year Thomas’s Battersea school, has already been told he isn't allowed to have a best friend.

That's right. The school allegedly has a bizarre policy that discourages all of its students from having a 'favourite friend'.

Instead the children are encouraged to be friends with ALL of their classmates.

According to Loose Women's Jane Moore, the school aims to make every child feel included.

‘There are signs everywhere saying ‘be kind’ – that’s the ethos of the school,’ she said on the show. ‘They don’t encourage you to have best friends.’

‘There’s a policy that if your child is having a party – unless every child is invited – you don’t give out the invites in class,' she continued.

It has also been revealed that George will be treated like 'just another pupil.'

Which means his classmates won’t be addressing him by his title.

Just like in preschool, he will simply be known as 'George Cambridge' in his school records, to his peers and teachers.
