Who Is Liam Neeson's "Incredibly Famous" Girlfriend?

Liam Neeson says he is dating an "incredibly famous" woman seven years after losing his wife Natasha Richardson in a skiing accident.

Neeson, 63, started dating Richardson, of the famous Redgrave acting dynasty, in the 1990s, with the pair marrying in 1994.

The couple had two sons together, Michael and Daniel. However, Richardson died in 2009 from brain injuries after falling on the ski slopes in Canada and bumping her head.

Neeson told the Independent that he hit rock bottom after his mother's death a few years later, "partying a lot" and taking drugs to cope.

Now, he says he is dipping his toe back in the dating scene, saying he is involved with an "incredibly famous" woman.

"I'd embarrass her if I said her name, she's incredibly famous. I'll have to do my best for her."

"It's amazing how far a simple bunch of freshly picked flowers will go in a lady's life, I find," he said.

The internet is now abuzz with people guessing everyone from Angela Merkel to Queen Elizabeth and Kristen Stewart.

Neeson also shared that his son, Michael, is following in his acting footsteps.

"It gladdens my heart but it also makes me wary for him. My lineage (in acting) is short but my wife's goes back to the 1700s. He's taking it very seriously," he said.

"He's had a couple of opportunities for screen tests for major things and he's turned them down. I asked him why and he said, 'I'm not trained yet', so I think that's wise."
