Husband finally speaks to his wife for the first time in 20 years after going into an incredible sulk

A husband has finally spoken to his wife for the first time in 20 years after going into a MASSIVE sulk - and we have to say the reason why is pretty pitiful!

Otou Katayama hadn’t spoken to his wife, Yumi, for two decades but continued to live with her, despite her continually trying to make conversation with him.

Apparently she would receive the odd nod or grunt in response, but apart from that she’s been met with a wall of silence.

Their son, Yoshiki, 18, contacted a Japanese TV show asking them to help because he had never heard his parents have a conversation.

Otou said: ‘Somehow it’s been a while since we talked. You were so concerned about the kids.

‘Yumi up until now, you have endured a lot of hardship. I want you to know I’m grateful for everything.’

He later added: ‘I was kind of jealous [of the attention the children were getting]. I was sulking about it. There’s no going back now, I guess.’
