Hospital allows devoted dog to give bedside goodbye to dying owner

This is so heartbreaking!

It is never easy to say goodbye to a loved one, but a dog named Mollie was just happy to have the chance to bid farewell to her owner, Ryan Jessen.

On November 30, Jessen passed away from a ventricular brain hemorrhage at the age of 33, after Rideout Memorial Hospital allowed Mollie's visit.

His sister Michelle, who will now keep Mollie, wrote on Facebook, "Mollie will now know why Ryan will never come home."
